April 23rd: MAP Testing Begins

• April 23-May 3, Price 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be participating in the Missouri Assessment Program. It is critical that students be present for these assessments. Thank you in advance for scheduling appointments around the assessment dates.

April 24th: Price Texas Roadhouse Night

April 26: Price Night at HS Baseball Game @ 4:30 (Free for Students and Staff; Half-Price for Families)

May 5th: ROAR Run

May 15th: Parent Advisory Council Meeting

• All Price parents are invited to attend our last Parent Advisory Council meeting on May 15 - save the date. This is a great opportunity to provide feedback to improve Price. More information will be sent later this month.

On Friday, April 13, at 6:00 p.m., all Price families are invited to watch "Gussied Up at the Opry" in the Price gymnasium. All Broadway critics anticipate this to be another brilliant Mrs. Pipkin production!

Snacks will be sold at this music production from 5:15-6:00 p.m. All proceeds will go to provide funds for '18-19 K-5 student leadership teams.

There will also be a FREE ice cream social immediately following the program! We will serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream cups! Plus, we will be giving each student who attends in grades K-5 a free book and reading challenge page to complete during the remainder of the year. We hope to see you there!

We need your help! On Saturday, April 21, at 8:00 a.m., we are asking Price parents to volunteer for various projects to help beautify our building, inside and out. Click on this link to see project descriptions and sign up to volunteer.

Price needs volunteers to help launder clothing donations for the Price Tag! We have our own washer and dryer in the building. If you are able to help, please click this link to sign up. All volunteers must have a current background check on file. If you are unsure if you have completed this process, please contact the office at 732.3690. Thank you in advance for your help in making our clothing store a success!

Friday, April 20th-"What's Your Superpower?" Dress as Your Favorite Superhero (NO FACE PAINT)

On June 1 of this year, the current PIT Crew organization will dissolve. Three Price parents have volunteered to begin a new Price PTO chapter and serve as board members. Their term will begin on April 10 of this school year. Price PTO board members will focus their efforts on planning 1-2 school events for '18-19 and on getting feedback from Price families for future events.

Just a reminder that meals (breakfast & lunch) cannot be charged during the month of May. There must be a positive balance in your child's meal account for your child to purchase a meal while at school. If a student goes negative, any amount, a Tiger Meal (soy butter sandwich & milk) will be provided until the account is brought back into the positive.

All meal balances carry over into next school year, so if your student(s) are negative at the end of this school year...your student will start off the 2018-2019 school year negative.

Balances can be checked online through your Parent Portal account or by contacting the Food Service Office: (417) 735-3753. Meal payments can be made online at this link: https://www.republicschools.org/Page/326.

Remember: There are only 15 school days in May.
