We started in Seattle in 2011, as part of the highly successful Techstars program.

Smore was initially a simple content creation tool for small businesses but quickly became popular in the K12 education space.

We raised a small amount of money in 2013 and have been profitable and growing steadily ever since.

We have more than 5 million creators on our platform, and their newsletters receive more than a billion views a year.

Our name comes from the delicious "S'more" which is a popular North American campfire treat.

S'mores are delicious, bitesized and easy to make and master, just like our tools and products.

Our mascot, Smorinio, is a happy S'more.

We're 31 people, in Tel Aviv, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Boulder and Provo.

We love working on meaningful, impactful problems, and we always look for likeminded humans to join us!
